Mija Schrey University of Kentuckyn cheerjoukkueeseen!!
Sekajoukkueen Mija lunasti paikan arvostettuun University of Kentuckyyn. Useita päiviä kestäneissä karsinnoissa Mija näytti taitonsa ja on nyt ensimmäinen suomalainen, joka on koskaan päässyt amerikkalaiseen yliopistocheerjoukkueeseen. Onnea Mijalle!

Gorillaz at camp
The Gorillaz had a weekend camp at Solvalla Sports Academy February 14-15. In addition to the team's own coaches, Johnny "Trey" Griffin from UCA was also there to help with the World Cup routine. The weekend was filled with hard work and as a result there is new stuff in the routine and it better than ever!

National Champions 2009 / Suomen Mestarit 2009
The Gorillaz took their 9th title in a row as Finnish National Champions this weekend! In stead of having a break and tryouts the team is now fully starting to concentrate on getting ready for the ICU World Cup in Orlando, Florida in April. The coaches are teaching the new routine in February and the team is going on a weekend camp in Solvalla Sports Academy February 14-15. // Gorillat saivat viikonloppuna yhdeksännen peräkkäisen SM-kultansa! Joukkue ryhtyy nyt suoraan keskittymään huhtikuussa Orlandossa järjestettäviin ICU World Cup-kisoihin. Valmistautuminen alkaa tauon ja karsintojen sijaan uuden ohjelman opettelulla ja viikonloppuleirillä Solvallan urheiluopistolla 14.-15.2.

Funky Team Gorillaz is a co-ed cheerleading team from Helsinki, Finland. Team competes on national and international level in Cheer-mixed division A. Gorillaz have 13 guys and 12 girls practising in the team at the moment. The team took 1st place in the European Championships 2006 and are back-to-back Finnish National Champions 2001-2008.
